A Cultural Journey: Celebrating the release of the Ray Sono Culture Book

Munich, 24.03.23: The release of the Culture Book marks the end of six months of intensive research, text, graphics, and design work for a dozen Rays. The aim was to develop a haptic and digital collection of cultural achievements covering the most important moments of our digital DNA in a visually high-quality book.

It started with a simple idea in the middle of last year. This idea evolved into a workable concept through a series of intensive sessions with creative Ray Sono digital experts. How do you show events, celebrations, successes, office changes, and the social, sporting, and cultural activities that go on in- and outside the company. How do you make everything that has happened, visible for our fellow Rays, customers, and friends? Countless memories are quickly forgotten or easily give way to other images – such is the transient nature of information in our digital world.

 

To counteract this, we developed the Culture Book, a colourful collection and all-inclusive overview, to show how lively and multi-faceted the "Rayverse" is. In addition to many cultural and professional highlights, the 96 pages also contain special moments such as the Ray Dogs Quiz, stories from our everyday digital work, QR codes, links, and competitions – it’s not a dry review, but an emotional travel diary full of positivity and fond memories. A book in which every Ray can find themselves and deepen their emotional connection with the company. A book which defines our work in the digital world.

The first edition of the Culture Book was distributed free of charge to all Rays, and, naturally, a digital version is also available. Work on the next edition has already begun and we are excited to see what adventures await as we continue our journey!
