A CMS That Transforms Workflows and User Journeys
We started with a comprehensive analysis, focusing on security issues, inefficient editorial workflows, and outdated functionalities to clearly define the core challenges of the existing CMS. The goal was to find a secure, measurable solution that would simplify editorial processes and enable customized features. Based on Deutsche Bahn’s requirements and objectives, we recommended implementing a modern CMS that is robust, flexible, and intuitive to use. This perfectly aligned with the goal of improving efficiency and building a future-proof system.
Once the right CMS was selected, our team tackled content migration and began transferring existing data and assets into the new system. We also restructured the site navigation and optimized the platform to simplify editorial workflows, improve user journeys, and enhance search functionality.
Additionally, we developed new features such as the Holiday Quick Finder based on a UX and usability analysis, as well as the “Current Traffic Updates” section. We also revised every template, component, and module on Bahn.de and its subpages. This included integrating video and survey modules to strengthen customer engagement.
