Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

It has always been a matter of the heart for us to treat each other with respect and to promote a healthy, fair work environment here at Ray Sono. Diversity, tolerant interaction and the greatest possible participation of all people and Rays are bundled under the headline DE&I – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

DE&I is for us a tool to live our shared values and to future-proof ourselves. We understand the relevance and importance of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – for our Rays, for applicants and simply for us in our role as a responsible employer.

As a company that sees itself as a home for people, it is essential for us to support and challenge each person equally regardless of origin, gender, religion, disability, age and sexual identity. Trust and humanity have been part of our DNA since the beginning of Ray Sono, which is why we do not have to learn and try them out first. It is our task to set an example reliably and sustainably, to pass these values on and to anchor them in the hearts of all Rays. We, too, observe and learn every day how much work and genuine effort these topics still require. We therefore try to be sensitive, open to suggestions and ready to take responsibility. Every team member is called upon to contribute, and our DE&I team is always happy to receive ideas, suggestions or criticism about DE&I and how it is anchored in our corporate culture.

DEI@raysono is a group of dedicated Rays who add the perspectives of Diversity, Equality & Inclusion to our workplace, our daily interactions and our communication. Connected to the HR and communications departments, DEI@raysono advises the management, identifies relevant topics and initiates project teams that approach the topic embracing as many perspectives as possible and develop concrete proposals or possible solutions. The goal is to continue to strengthen Ray Sono as a humane and forward-looking company, as well as to continuously recognise its own blind spots and to fill them with colour.
