Your responsibilities

As a Lead Developer (all genders) | Frontend, you hold technical responsibility for the team of developers in your projects.
You develop exciting, highly varied projects in interdisciplinary teams. You dig into frontend architecture and develop complex code into the depths of the backend as far as you can operate the stack.
You use modern programming languages and frameworks such as Vue, React or Node.js.
You define technical concepts and identify the suitable tools, methods, and technologies to find solutions for technical challenges. You keep the tech stack up to date and always guarantee your high-quality standards.
You still like to write code yourself, but you also like to conceptualise your projects from the beginning and make technological decisions.
You are a professional leader in your area of expertise and evaluate the latest technologies, share your knowledge with colleagues, mentor juniors, set priorities, develop goals, and thus actively drive further development.
You thrive in an interface position because you always maintain a comprehensive view of your projects and think interdisciplinarily about the needs of the other teams, e.g. to develop the optimal workflow in cooperation with the experience design team to implement complex layouts precisely.
As a technical contact person, you advise your colleagues and customers on new projects, products, and features, understand customer requirements, and carry out feasibility analyses and cost estimates to create custom-fit offers and build the bridge between customer and technology.

We expect you to

Bring in what makes you special. This should include:

A degree with a technical focus, such as media informatics or a comparable course of study.
Several years of coding experience in an agile environment as a front-end or full-stack developer.
An enjoyment of customer contact; you can provide professional advice both internally as well as externally.
You know your way around build tools and are proficient in at least Vue.js or React.
You bring a passion for user-friendly interfaces and thoughtful design.
You use agile processes and professional methodologies such as Continuous Integration, Test Automation, Unit Testing, TDD and Peer Reviews.

A typical project would be a website relaunch with an enterprise CMS using the following technologies:

Bootstrap4, Vuetify or Foundation
Vue.js, React or alternatively Angular
TypeScript
Webpack or Gulp
Npm or Yarn
REST or GraphQL interface
Java or Node
